Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, a wellness hotel nestled in the Texas Hill Country, spans 2 hectares and features four championship golf courses, including the Tom Fazio-designed Fazio Canyons. The resort, recognized by Conde Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards 2024, includes a world-class Mokara Spa with 17 treatment rooms and a private rooftop pool. Its 493 guest rooms and suites offer Hill Country decor, Juliette-style balconies, and scenic views.

Hill Country Accommodations

Deluxe and premium rooms feature Hill Country-style decor, Juliette-style balconies, and king-sized beds with traditional Texas-sized luxury. Suites include separate living areas, Juliette-style balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing rolling Hill Country views. The Premier Balcony rooms are the largest, offering sweeping views of the Austin Hill Country.

Dining

Nine on-site dining options include Blind Salamander Kitchen & Bar, serving seasonal seafood and Hill Country views, and Bob's Steak & Chop House, specializing in prime Midwestern beef. Velvet Joe's Coffee House offers barista-crafted beverages and grab-and-go meals, while Texas Spice features locally inspired breakfast options. Jim Bob's Lobby Lounge serves cocktails with small plates using local Austin ingredients.

Spa & Outdoor Wellness

Mokara Spa offers Swedish and hot stone massages, a rooftop pool, and treatments inspired by nearby waterways. The fitness center includes yoga, Pilates, and spin classes, while the tiered pool deck features an adult-only infinity pool and family-friendly splash pad. Guests can explore the property's nature trails or book a golf performance session with Titleist-certified instructors.

Surrounding Area

Located 16 km southwest of downtown Austin, the resort provides complimentary shuttle service to Fazio Canyons Golf Course. Nearby attractions include Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve (4 km) and Sculpture Falls (5 km). Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is 27 km away, accessible in approximately 30 minutes.

“The Omni Barton Creek Resort And Spa's hilltop setting in Austin offers genuinely striking views and a peaceful atmosphere, a welcome escape that still keeps the city accessible. Its well-maintained grounds and attentive staff create a polished environment, whether you're enjoying the expansive pool areas or the highly regarded spa facilities. For a resort that balances substantial amenities with quality service, it certainly makes a compelling case for return visits.”
